βThere is no such thing as perfect in this world. That may sound cliche, but itβs the truth. The average person admires perfection and seeks to obtain it. But whatβs the point of achieving perfection? There is none. Nothing. Not a single thing. I spit on perfection! If something is perfect, then there is nothing left. There is no room for imagination. No place left for that person to gain additional knowledge or abilities. Do you know what that means? For scientists such as us, perfection only brings despair. It is our job to create things more wonderful than anything before them, but never to obtain perfection. A scientist must be a person who finds ecstasy while suffering from that antinomy.β
βSuppose that you were sitting down at a table. The napkins are in front of you, which napkin would you take? The one on your βleftβ? Or the one on your βrightβ? The one on your left side? Or the one on your right side? Usually you would take the one on your left side. That is βcorrectβ too. But in a larger sense on society, that is wrong. Perhaps I could even substitute βsocietyβ with the βUniverseβ. The correct answer is that βIt is determined by the one who takes his or her own napkin first.β β¦Yes? If the first one takes the napkin to their right, then thereβs no choice but for others to also take the βrightβ napkin. The same goes for the left. Everyone else will take the napkin to their left, because they have no other option. This is βsocietyββ¦ Who are the ones that determine the price of land first? There must have been someone who determined the value of money, first. The size of the rails on a train track? The magnitude of electricity? Laws and Regulations? Who was the first to determine these things? Did we all do it, because this is a Republic? Or was it Arbitrary? NO! The one who took the napkin first determined all of these things! The rules of this world are determined by that same principle of βright or left?β! In a Society like this table, a state of equilibrium, once one makes the first move, everyone must follow! In every era, this World has been operating by this napkin principle. And the one who βtakes the napkin firstβ must be someone who is respected by all. Itβs not that anyone can fulfill this roleβ¦ Those that are despotic or unworthy will be scorned. And those are the βlosersβ. In the case of this table, the βeldestβ or the βMaster of the partyβ will take the napkin firstβ¦ Because everyone βrespectsβ those individuals.β
βThis eternally cursed power. This extremely disgusting existence! May this wretched body help me protect the things most important to me now! This is the only power that makes atonement for my sins possible! Ashes to Ashes, Dust to Dust, Earth to Earth! Amen!β
βDo all of you really want... to win that badly? You all want the Grail that desperately?! You'd crush the only wish I have in my heart... do none of you feel any shame at all?! I won't forgive you... I? won't forgive ANY of you for this! All of you monsters who'd disregard a knight's honor for personal gain... let my blood taint your dreams! Let the Grail be cursed! Let the wish it grants bring disaster! And when you fall into the pits of hell... remember the rage of Diarmuid!β
βThe system created by the divine ones segregates every single person into his living assignment in the world, determines his roles and controls them...the melancholy voices of those born into this world have pierced the depths of my heart. I feel the need to do something for them without discriminating against anyone.β
βPeople can be so mean, no matter what you've done for them they will believe the first cheap rumor they hear. In the end they only care about themselves.β
βYou donβt need a good reason to save a friend. If you want to save them, then save them. I know someone who kept saying those stupid things even when he was driven to the brink of death, and he really did save over 10,000 people in the end. And that idiot that saved so many people is trying to save someone today like always. I know I canβt stop him. No matter how much I donβt want him to do anything dangerous, seeing him off with a push to the back is the sign of a good woman!β
βSitting there in the dark, I had the chance to think about a lot of things, including the nature of the world itself. And after lengthy consideration, I realized something; When all is said and done, this world is an unknowable place. On the surface, all appears rational, orderly. But what lies beyond that thin veneer of reason? Stability and reality? Or chaos and madness? What are we really made of in the end? Is there truly any meaning to the lives we lead? Or are we nothing more than hollow vessels? These are questions we can never answer, because we cannot hope to see beyond the world's fragile layer of skin. So we live our lives filled with uncertainty, never knowing who or what we truly are, or what the future will bring. All we can do is imagine. Life becomes an unsolvable mystery with any number of twists and turns awaiting us. And that's enough to fill any soul with terror.β
βThere's nothing unusual hereβ¦ The appropriate one stands in the appropriate place after the inappropriate ones have collapsed to the ground, defeated. There is nothing unexpected or odd about it. Because this is reality. Not one shred of uncertainty exists here. Not even fear, of courseβ¦β
βLet us talk about the brain. The brain is said to be the place where our consciousness resides. As we speak, each of us possesses our own distinct consciousness. We are all experiencing reality through our own point of view. To each of us, reality unfolds as a unique story as a result of our consciousness. However, looking to the outside from this box called the self, reality is subjective.β
βSuch shallow emotions evoked by simple and cheerful stories won't solve anything! What people need is a more tangible sense of values with which to resolve the conflicts of everyday life! Even if that causes others to think of you as warped, as long as you can remain true to yourself until the moment you die; that is what I believe true dignity is!β
βThere's something that cannot be expressed in words: human emotion. Emotions of the heart can't be just tucked away in a closet. There's a way to know the emotions: look into the eyes. The gentleman lied to me when I trusted him, but the moment I looked into his eyes the angel of destiny began to unravel the truth. Just look into their eyes, there is only one truth.β
βI wonder why it is, that people fall in love with others? I think that to seek out love even when you already have a nice family is being greedy. No matter how much you like another person, you can never be with that person forever... But I dislike that. I don't care if I have to throw away everything else. I just want you to look at me.β
βNo matter how colossal a power you obtain, no matter how gigantic an army you bring with you, I ain't scared. While you've abandoned a hundred, I've connected with a thousand. While you've destroyed a thousand, I've been helped by ten thousand. So what's an army of a few thousand? We have protected everything as just three people. We're the Yorozuya.β
βIf failure is the hallmark of being young, like they say. then someone who has failed to make friends must be at the peak of his youth, right? However, I'm sure they will disagree. All of this is just their double standards at play and nothing else. Here's the bottom line: Fools that enjoy their youth should go kill themselves.β
βI'll marry you! No matter what kind of sickness you have! Even if you can't walk or stand, or even when you can't have kids! I'll still marry you! No matter where or how I meet you, I'll fall in love with you. If I can meet you again, against the 6 billion to 1 odds, and even if your body can't move, I'll marry you.β
βI didnβt choose you. Donβt you see this is all just an accident. You actually thought you were chosen because youβre so smart or something? Donβt be so vain. It just happened to fall around here and you just happen to pick it up, and thatβs all there is to it.β
βEven if your feelings or wishes do not come true, or if things don't go as you planned - on another road grows another flower. A new flower blooms there.β
βDeath is the end of everything. Your past and future will be lost in an instant where there will be no second chance. However as long as you live there will be a chance of pulling a win.β
